For three star Californian, try Montgomery Inn At The Boathouse in Cincinnati. This mildly expensive restaurant has been around for the last 50 years. It's known for its barbecue. The menu is so dominated by the tender. This place features great views. When you step inside the restaurant, you'll notice a romantic atmosphere. This place features private rooms, brunch, and catering. This restaurant is good for groups. Some diners recommend avoiding the crowds.
Ii'm a transplanted Ohioan and I miss Montgomery Inn so much! I love the ribs here-they are not what a southerner would call BBQ but they are darn good! I eat here whenever I come into town. The service can be...

More of a nightclub feeling here, but the same excellent food/ribs that Montgomery Ribs is famous for. Great to come here after an afternoon on the Ohio river.

Great meal, I like the ribs & chicken combo, it's cheap and delicious. Get a good bottle of Malbec for $20 with that, can't beat the price. Minus one star for the wait and stupid reservation policy,…

Some of the best ribs anywhere. I still dream about their BBQ sauce; it goes on nearly anything. They do it on chicken, shoestring fries and saratoga chips. mmmm.

The ribs were cooked very well and had a great flavor without the sauce. I have had sauce at many great BBQ joints around the country, but none reminded me of straight ketchup like this one. Take a sauce lesson from Corky's or any of the other classy Memphis joints. Saratoga chips are just slightly burnt thick Lays potato chips. Not worth 4.50 for a serving.
